The Cleaving Continues
Four pounds in two weeks. Okay. I’ll take what I can get. Now I’m trying to beat the sugar cravings brought on by hormonal fluctuations. Please…I can feel my body’s changes. I have to admit I feel my best when I eat a healthy meal, keep active, and walk two or three miles in 45 minutes.
My downfall were the peeps that had been sitting out for a week. Sounds gross but to marshmallow connoisseurs a slightly dried out marshmallow can be a treat. Otherwise peeps are too grainy for me when they’re fresh. Chewy is more tempting to me than chocolate. Gummies, caramel, etc.
*Great smoothy breakfast mix!
Fruit of choice (frozen if not fresh) 1c. of each…I usually put in a cup of strawberries, blueberries, and a banana so it is actually greater than one cup…fill it to your own taste.
Dried Goji berries (Whole Foods)
Kyo-Green or some other more potent green powder containing a days supply of green veggies.
ice (unless using frozen fruit)
optional – nonfat yogurt or milk
I’ve also been eating a cup of nonfat yogurt with my husband’s homemade granola which is higher in calories but sticks with me all morning. It’s the lack of protein that will usually set me off on a food forage.
Still plugging away…
